OLDIES BUT GOODIES

DIGGIN FOR GOLD

My first major games gig was at Warthog Games in Manchester ā€“ so much so that I was an investor and #6 in the studio.

Youā€™ll also find some other golden oldies, work I completed at Framestore and for KOEI

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA

Some great iconic ships to have had the pleasure to model and texture

MACE GRIFFIN

Back at Warthog, we were making our own IP, Mace Griffin, it had a lot of potential but was dogged by problems including tech and staff.

The character concepts were by Stuart Jennett and I would draw the environments, while Stu drew the people in!

DINOTOPIA TV

I took a short break from games and worked in London for Framestore. I was a freshie, learning how to be a Lighting Technical Director (TD). My role was to import the dino and animations and create lighting to match the backplates.

I have to say, i loved this role, but my family didnt, they were back in Manchester šŸ™

SOUL MASTER 1997

My first game job, it was to be trained in Stroud (UK) and then move to Japan to continue working on the artwork at KOEI headquarters.

Alas it never happened but it was a great learning experience in low poly models, animation and small textures.
